Is this a known symptom of Apple trying to thwart use of Little Snitch and similar services and software? Is it conceivable that they have now started to disable (=intentionally break) certain (popular) processes (i.e. Question 3: Apple has in the past force-disabled Little Snitch (moved it to a folder named something along the line of 'Unsupported Software'). Question 2: Does anyone have similar issues?

Question 1: Any suggestions as to how to resolve this?

Allowing all gamed connections (see above) and then re-enabling Little Snitch (Network Filter ='On') does not change the behaviour: iTunes still stalls.

Note: In the past I completely blocked all traffic for gamed, but for the time being I decided to only block the ones

I have triple-checked the Rules in Little Snitch and softened/deleted some Apple-related rules and, currently, the only connections I have denied are for 'SpotlightNetHelper' () and 'gamed' (17.155.127.222+223, ports 16384 to 16386).
